Located in the northern suburbs of Brisbane only 10 minutes from the CBD, Keperra Country Golf Club presents 27 fantastic holes of championship quality.  Renowned for its towering trees and tight fairways, this is one of the best non-resort courses you will play.                  

                                      

 

The Variety

Keperra Country Golf Club offers three separate 9 hole courses that can be interchanged to make up the 18.  The ‘old’ course is the championship course where the nationally respected ‘Keperra Bowl’ is played.  The North and West courses are made up of variations of the ‘old’ course incorporating the third 9 to offer outstanding variety.  With so many holes and course combinations, coupled with so many variants on each particular hole, Keperra Country Golf Club is a standout in this category.

 

 

The Challenge

Variety equals challenge.  With so much variety on offer at Keperra Country Golf Club, most players will struggle on their first round.  There is water on nearly every second hole, as well as fast greens protected by beaches of sand.  This is one of the main reasons the Keperra Bowl has such a large national following.

 

 

The Price

For 18 holes and motorised buggy, expect to be out of pocket about $40.00.  Not bad considering the quality and location of the course.

                                                     

 

            

The Facilities

Keperra Country Golf Club offers a massive clubhouse and well stocked Pro Shop.  It has a fully netted practise range and large practice bunkers and greens.  Parking is abundant and amenities are top class. 

                                                   

            

 

The People

No problems here.  Everyone was friendly and approachable.  Top marks.

                                                                                           

 

The Extras

This category is aimed at rewarding those courses that provide that one unforgettable hole.  The 18th par 4 on the championship course is a standout.  Tee off towards the dog leg and man made dam.  The second shot (hopefully) is a hit up onto a large, fast double tiered green that is overlooked by the  club house balcony.  What better way to finish a round!
